BARANGAY KABUHAYAN
The Barangay Kabuhayan Skills Training Program provides skills training opportunities for the beneficiaries in the 4th, 5th, and 6th class municipalities to equip them with employable skills to make them economically productive though wage or self-employment.
The target beneficiaries are the residents of the 4th, 5th and 6th municipalities and barangays nationwide who are at least fifteen (15) years old at the start of the training program and are Filipino citizens.
The assistance and benefits of the beneficiaries include:
Free training fee based on approved standard cost for this program;
Training allowance subsidy at Sixty Pesos (P60.00) per training day per trainee; and
Free assessment fee (as applicable).
For the Province of Misamis Occidental, the Municipalities of Baliangao, Panaon, Sapang Dalaga, Concepcion and Sinacaban have been included in the Barangay Kabuhayan Skills Training Program per TESDA Circular No. 20 series of 2016.
